Promotive Role of TDC

TDC’s promotive role is visible through its wide network of educational collaborations, awareness partnerships, and community-based health promotion activities. The organisation has signed multiple MoUs with academic and training institutions, including Abasyn University, Health Services Academy Islamabad, NUMS, Shifa Tameer-e-Milat University, NUML, Bashir Institute of Health Sciences, National Skills University, DAKSON Institute of Health Sciences, Midwest Institute of Health Sciences, Riphah Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts, and other institutions. These collaborations support health education, professional learning, awareness sessions, student engagement, and wider public understanding of diabetes prevention and management.

TDC also promotes healthier communities through partnerships with government bodies, chambers of commerce, universities, insurance organisations, health institutions, and community stakeholders. Its outreach activities in schools, universities, workplaces, public parks, and remote communities create awareness around diabetes, nutrition, lifestyle modification, eye health, foot care, and early screening. By combining education, screening, counselling, and institutional partnerships, TDC functions not only as a hospital, but also as a health promotion platform that builds community awareness, strengthens preventive behaviour, and encourages people to take responsibility for long-term health.
